Felipe J. Arcos

May 17, 1966 - March 8, 2022

Felipe Jesus Arcos Sr., 55, died March 8, 2022 in his home in Von Ormy, TX, due to kidney cancer, with his family by his side. Felipe was born in San Antonio, TX to Felipe and Sofia Arcos. Felipe was passionate about music, history, smoking brisket, setting up fireworks displays, being with his family, helping others, coaching youth sports, and the Dallas Cowboys. In 1984, Felipe Graduated from Somerset High School where he played Baritone and French horn for the Somerset High School Band. After high school, Felipe would attend the Baptist Health System School of Health Professions to study Radiography before transferring to St. Phillips College to continue his studies. Felipe worked for Sunglo inc. for 20 years. During that time, he would work his way up and become supervisor for 6 of their stores. He would also operate a DJ production company for 5 years on the side, along with his family named “A Productions Mobile DJ Systems.” In 1986, Felipe met his future wife and love of his life, Beatriz Guzman. They would go on to have 3 children. Stephanie, Debbie, and Felipe Jr. They would remain married for 34 years. During that time Felipe would do anything and everything possible to make sure his family was protected and taken care of. Felipe is survived by his parents Felipe C. and Sofia Arcos. His Brothers, Jimmy (Alicia) Arcos, and Emilio (Amy) Arcos. His Sister, Cynthia Arcos. His Children, Stephanie Arcos, Debbie (Placido) Cano, and his son Felipe Jesus Arcos Jr. His Grandchildren, Ehren Samuel Ortegon, Debbie Eloisa Cano, Athena Rose Arcos and his dog Charlie Barkos. Visitation will be held at Camero Funeral home, 20567 HWY 16. South, Von Ormy TX, 78073, on Tuesday March 15, 2022 from 4 PM to 9 PM. A rosary service will be held the same day at 6:30 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16 2022, at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Somerset Texas at 9:30 AM. The burial will be held after the church services at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
