Josefina Perez

Josefina C. Perez was born to Raymundo Chavira and Maria Castillo Chavira on May 2, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas and passed on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the age of 71 years. Mrs. Perez was preceded in death by her husband, Ignacio D. Perez, Sr.; son, Paul Rabago; and daughter, Janette Rabago. She is survived by her sons; Raymond Rabago, George Rabago, Ignacio Perez, Jr., and Daniel Perez (Lissette Perez); daughter; Grace Guzman (Bernardo Guzman); brothers; Raymond Chavira, Raul Chavira and Richard Chavira; sister, Mary Helen Cantu; 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; also, numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Mrs. Perez loved spending time with family and her grandchildren who she was so proud of. She was known for her famous potato salad, enjoyed long conversations with her sister, and liked to talk about politics. She also enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to Christian music and oldies. Mrs. Perez will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home.
