Juan Manuel Picazo was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila on August 31, 1950 to Guillermo Picazo and Maria Gallegos. He passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the age of 70 years. Juan was a joyous, caring, humble man. He listened to the calling of our Lord without question. A beloved Father and Grandfather who always had time for his “Hijos”. He was a choir member since 1990 and played the maracas and praised Jesus through the music ministry. He served in many ministries as an Usher, Visitations to the Sick, he cared for the homebound and delivered food to the needy, he was ready to teach the word of God through Bible Studies he held in his home, and even through visual representation through Bible story dramas. He had a special devotion to the Church maintenance for many years. He cared for our house of worship and our community with all the love in his heart. Mr. Picazo is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Picazo; sons, Juan Picazo, Jr., Mario Picazo and Arthur Picazo; sisters, Dora Gonzalez and Antonia Zapata; his grandchildren, Milisa, Larissa, Darren, Elora, Daisy, Nathan; great grandchildren, Warren, Landen and Alice; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
