Mary Lee Medellin, born October 4, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 at the age of 68 years. Mrs. Medellin is preceded in death by her Daughter, Claudette Svehla; Parents, Frances and Carroll Shumake; Sister, Carol Ann DeLaCruz; Brother, Robert Shumake; Step Daughter, Dianne Medellin and Step Son, Danny Medellin, Jr. Mary Lee Medellin is survived by her Loving Husband, Danny Medellin Sr., Daughter, Emma Cardona (Rudy); Step Sons, David Medellin and Albert Medellin (Julia); 5 Grandchildren Mary (Mike), Elisa (Eduardo), Rudy Jr, Ryan (Chanelle), Sarah (Dane); 9 Step Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren who were the loves of her life David, Moises, Waylon, Annalisa, Luan, Joaquinn, Maddie along with her 8th Great Grandchild Daxton who is due in December who she couldn't wait to meet; Sister Peggie Cavender; Brother In Laws Henry (Adela), Manuel (Connie); Sister In Laws Mary Alice (Alfredo), Nancy (Bill) and numerous Nephews, Nieces and Cousin. Mrs. Medellin loved all her family. Known by her Great Grandchildren as “Granny Grandma" her passion in life was playing with her grandchildren as often as possible. She looked forward to the knock on her door early in the mornings from Moises saying "come on Granny Grandma lets go play!" When she had time to herself though you couldn’t keep her away from her mobile games. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held that Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home.
